New Johnstown Product - 1973
This ladle transfer car is the first of its type to be fabricated at Johnstown Works, U.S. Steel Corp. The 200-ton car will be shipped to the corporation's plant at Fairfield, Alabama, where it will be used to move steel made in the Q-Bop, steelmaking shop now under construction. Albert Primavera (left) and Jake Respet, fitters complete the final fabrication work before shipment.

Don't Go Near the Water
The day after the flood Thomas Cyner, nine of Prosser Hollow fell off Ten-Acre Bridge into the river. It required a "chain gang" of eight men to rescue Tommy, shown here as he was brought out with his aunt ready to wrap a coat around him.

A nasty bad day. Rained by spells all day.
Harry and I was up to the cemetery and got the print of a leaf off of Blairs tombstone. And took it in to the place where they are making dad (husband) a marker. So they could make the same design on dads marker.
Then we come home and Ida had dinner about ready. So Harry went home to sleep and then, He & Eddie come for supper to nite. Harry goes to work at 12 to nite. And Eddie went home to do some work and feed the cat.
