Monday - August 4, 1947

I did not wash today. I was feeling too miserable.

I just loafed all day. Harry come over and I went with him to get a bath tub.

It cost $72.00 but we got it any way.

Saturday - August 2, 1947

Ethel is not feeling very good. I wanted them to stay.

But she wants to home. So they left at noon for home. Harry took them in to the station and Clifford come over to take Oscar around but they was gone. So he took Ida & I out to the camp. We enjoyed the trip but I sure do not feel good this evening.

Friday - August 1, 1947

We had our work about all done up on yesterday.

So Betty Jane & I went up to the store Joan works and got some groceries. I got part of a ham. It is real good but it sure is deer. I paid $ 6.22 for it.

Oscar & Ethel come this evening. Clifford & Betty brought them from the station. Ethel is sick. We had supper just about ready when they come. So Betty & Clifford stayed for supper.
