Jolly Roger was named as part of a radio contest by a local D.J. by the name of Uncle Herb. I think the station was WARD

My mom and a friend of her's used to take us to lunch at Jolly Roger about once a week. We would have the friend Chicken and they had little things of honey to dip it in. My sister and I would crawl under the table and drink all the coffee creamers. hehehe

It had an older clientele during the last decade or so prior to it's closing. My grandfather used to call it "Menopause Manor" then.

All you can eat fish on Fridays. Best fried fish I've ever had. Baked Mac N Cheese was awesome too.
