03 Aug 1932, Ideal Park, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, USA --- Pennsylvania: Bonus Army Votes To Go Home. The B. E. F. today, Aug., 3, voted unanimously to evacuate their camp at Ideal Park, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and go home. Eddie McCluskey, fiery red-haired Mayor and sponsor of the Bonus army's occupation of Johnstown, ordered the veterans to leave and announced that he had arranged with the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad for passenger service for all.
