More Sinclair Station - Before and After

--------------------------------------------------
The attached photo was taken from the corner of Bedford and Penrod.  This location is now part of Carmen’s Tire which is caddy corner from Big Dogz.  If you look at the roof line, porch and windows, you can see that it is the same house that is seen in your Service Station photo with Paul Bunyan.  Paul was a mascot for Uniroyal back around 1963 or so and you can see that he is holding a tire in his right hand.  On the picture that you posted on your site, you can see that the house to the right of the station was sitting up on a bit of a hill which does not exist on Horner Street.

That car to the right at the pump in the old pic is a 1970/1971 Plymouth Valiant.

Most automobiles had side lights on the fenders starting in 1968 and I do not see any on the car at the pump.

on second look, appears to be a 1965 Rambler Ambassador 990. Wow the Ambassador and Valiant look alike from this distance.
