I remember Glosser's radio ads in the 60's- the jingle "We're all going to Glossers, we're all going to Glossers, famous for their savings at Glosser Brothers Store!" Boy, that stretches my memory, I could hear Al Bird on WARD playing that ad!
My grandfather, George Bowers Sr., worked at Glossers during the 1936 flood. He recanted tales of moving big boxes, evacuation of the store and the big mess afterward. I remember the cafeteria upstairs and having lunch with my gramdma in the 70s. Good vegetable soup. I can still smell it...

I know exactly where this building sits... Its at the bottom of Brownstown. I never knew it was a Hungarian Club though!!! Wow.
