For the next week in honor of the 1889 Flood - 125th. I will be posting these very rare and unique interviews with some of the actual flood survivors - speaking in their own words - on what they went thru on May 31, 1889. First up - Mrs. Harry (Ida) Hesselbein. Sorry this clip is a bit on the dark side - this is as good as I could get it - given it's age and condition.

Is this John Hesselbein's mother?
Yes
Are there any other film clip videos or the entire interview of my grandfather U.Ed. Swartzentruver? If there are, is it possible for me to acquire them?
Thank You, Russ Marshall
