From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Saturday - July 5, 1947
I done the out side scrubbing. Then by that time Lottie and Clay come for Ida. So I hurried and got dinner for them and then they took Ida along with them home.
I intended to go along, but B.J. is here. So I decided to stay home. Then Harry come and took us up to the cemetery to see dads (husband) & Blairs (son) graves. Then he brought us back and we hurried up and done our work. Then Harry & Margaret took Betty J. and Eddie along down to her home in Indiana. We did not get back till after 12 oclock.
