Monday - November 3, 1947
A nasty day and the current is off in the cellar. So I am not washing to day.
Johnnie tried too fix the wires but could not.
He said they had to have a fuse plug box so he ordered one from Joe Krissay.
I called Clifford and talked to him. He said he would be over tomorrow evening.

I remember Joe Krissay from Moxham Hardware. You could count on Joe for having the parts you needed and the knowledge on everything he sold. Not like the big box stores of today. I sure do miss that store.
