This is a look at the construction of Roosevelt Blvd in the 1920's - with the Washington Street Bridge and Point Stadium in the background. This was constructed to help ease the traffic problem along Iron Street.
What's so cool about this about this picture is you get to see a rare look at the extra set of seats on the old Point Stadium before the fire. This is about as clear as I could get it after I blew it up.

These are both awesome pictures! I never knew about the extra seats at the point. You learn something new every day! Thanks for posting these.
And we think WE are inconvenienced by construction detours today! Such as massive public works project that was!
This is the first time I've ever seen the ramp. I've only ever seen pictures of the upper deck from inside the stadium and I always wondered how people got up there!
