Trolley Time
A reader writes - "How surprising to see a picture with Century Cleaners. My dad, Steve Torchia managed the cleaners about this time and for many years."

This is in front of the Dispensary on Washington Street. The "island" was between the dispensary and Penn Traffic. The tall red brick building in the background is the Hendler Hotel. Today, the Social Security Administration building sits in it's place.

I think this was in front of Penn Traffic on Washington Street.
