From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Saturday - March 1, 1947
Dad (husband) was not a bit good all night. I called George in the night and he went up for Leona (daughter) and she called Dr. Kuhlman and he come up at 9 oclock and he gave dad some medicine.
But he continued to get worse. So he passed a way at 1:05.
Betty, Billy and I and Ida was with him when he passed away.
A sad day for us.

This is heartbreaking for those of us now invested in the Diary of a Johnstown Housewife ... Even though "Dad" Passed nearly 70 years ago ...
Yes, I agree with Fred. I have been following this diary and it is very sad to hear of the passing of Dad. Even after all these years.
