From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Thursday - March 20, 1947
Still in bed with the flue.
On a lighter note - some people are very concerned about Elizabeth's health - don't worry - it's only the 1947 edition of the flu going around town. So in the meantime - I have a special treat for you the reader.

Elizabeth's niece Shirley sent in these old family recipe cards. This one is Devil's Food Cake - Leone (Oldham) Boltz - Elizabeth's daughter.

And here we have a recipe handed down in the family from our dear friend - Mrs. Oldham herself - this time it's for pickles.
If anyone decides to make either of these - let me know!
