From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Saturday - June 7, 1947
It rained about all night last night and all fore noon so far.
It is noon now. I cleaned the lower part of the cupbord then cleaned the ward robe and the kitchen. Ida cleaned the bed room and living room and I also baked bread. Our hot water faucet took a spell to run. And Billy come over to fix it but it is wore out and I called some boys in to fix it, but they did not know any thing about it.
