Monday - January 27, 1947
Harry took me in to Dr. Kahl and he dressed my toe.
And then we come home. Leona stayed with Ida & dad.
And then she ate dinner with us and went home.
Essie Hiteshew was here for supper and then cut Idas hair. Dorse Lambert was here a while.
Note: Leona, Clifford, Billy and Harry are the children of Mrs. Oldham.
Also for you younger readers - dinner means lunch.

Leona stayed had Harry to take Ida & Dad up to her place. Then we all ate dinner up at Leona's. Then come home and I washed and done some cleaning. Clifford and Betty was here a while. I scrubbed this evening.
Dad is not so good.
