The simple breaking of a governor belt caused an awful catastrophe in Rail Mill No. 2 of the Cambria Steel works at 1:15 Thursday morning. As a result the ponderous fly wheel, weighing forty tons, gained such terrific momentum that it burst from centrifugal force....crashing thru the roof and bursting the steam and water pipes....flooding the floor with two feet of water and filling the room with steam.
