Cambria City Store
Unknown Cambria City Store - the guy in the second floor window looks like he is staring straight into the future in a kind of creepy way.

The Stenger Store was one of many stores which operated in downtown Johnstown during the 1880s. This store was located at 227 Main Street. it dealt in dry goods and notions and advertised its specialty as "dress goods" and ladies' and children's wraps.
This photo was published in a book entitled THE HISTORY OF KERNVILLE which can be seen in the Cambria County Library's PA Room. The above text is from page 77 of the book which also has a photo of John Stenger's residence at 518 Napoleon Street.
Google Maps shows 227 Main Street as a parking lot next to Family Dentistry Associates in downtown Johnstown. Zillow.com shows 518 Napoleon Street as a single family home near Robb Avenue in Kernville.
