I am fairly certain that this church is still standing and is where the Embassy Theater and the Visitor's Center used to be on Main St. If you look inside you can see the stained glass windows. The building to right is also still standing.
I worked for a summer with the Johnstown CVB while in that building at 416 Main St...It's part of Lincoln Center, which was foreclosed on I think... or the owner couldn't pay taxes, I can't remember what exactly. They had to move the welcome center because of it.
