Reader Marge (Torchia) Stewart sent in this picture of the Beech Spring War Memorial (in the background) on Decker Avenue in the West End - this was located slightly below St. Therese Church. It listed all the soldiers names that fought - sadly the memorial has disappeared - and I couldn't tell you why. CLICK HERE for a better look at the monument.
