Trolley Time
Trolley Time - Washington and Walnut Streets - 1967

This picture was taken on the last day of "trackless trolley" operation - 11/11/67. Streetcar operation came seven years earlier on 6/11/60. This bus is inbound about to turn right onto Walnut Street. The recent (1966-67) delivery of GMC model 3501 diesel buses put the trackless trolleys out to pasture.
