Christ the Savior Seminary
Old picture postcard of Christ the Savior Seminary. This how I saw it for years - from the bathroom window at my grandmothers house on Chandler Avenue.

I remember when this was just an empty field and a couple houses. My grandmothers house was directly across the st. from the cathedral. My cousin and me used to go play in that field a lot. I still remember when they first built the new seminary.
I lived on the corner of Chandler and Leslie Street and could see this from my house. I remember climbing the evergreen trees near the entrance, using the big rock as a tripod for my telescope and eating berries from the nearby mulberry tree. It was a perfect place for kite flying. When the winds would die down we would have to go as far as 'D' Street to retrieve our kites.
