St. Steven's(Szekeresh) bar and hotel was a great place, he had the whole place decorated with historical artifacts and things he had collected through the years, later it was turned into a resturant, but still had apartment for rent upstairs. Now it is just a few apartments and a home for Albert Szekeresh's family. A new bar resturant was opened just down the way by Steve Szekeresh and his brothers and in time that was taken over by his niece Marie Szekeresh Antol and is known as the Big Stone Cafe and Resturant. One should note that both places were built by the Szekeresh's with field stone they also built several houses for other family members, and in itself is a lesson in stone work which is a dying trade these days. It is a well worth trip to see the amazing stone work that was done by this family (Szekeresh's) a heritage well worth the addition to Munday's Corner, Jackson Township history.
