JHS - 1985 - Part 2
Johnstown High School - 1985 - Part 2. Inside shots. Me and my sister would stop every sunday and sneak inside thru a window in the back. She was the lookout for the cops while I was shooting.

Those are some pretty haunting shots. The noises from passing cars and the building itself just add to the spookiness of it all. Love the graffiti--I've never seen any of that before. Great stuff!
This just breaks my heart. I know this was an old building but it is just a shame to know all the history being torn down. I remember I was angry at the time that all they could build there was this tiny medial building. But I am sure it turned out best for the students.
It is amazing to me how we easily let go by the moments and monuments that years later we would love to have memories of. I went to JHS for two years in the late sixties and don't have a single picture of any of it.

Nice job. I'm enjoying all of this!
Amazing, truly amazing! I can't believe they let the desks in there for the demolition. You should've grabbed them.
