From the Diary of Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham.
Sunday - January 5, 1947:
Dr. Kuhlman was here again to day. He said Dad is better. That his temperature had dropped and he gave him some more medicine. Leone and Nancy come and put down our rug in the living room and Clifford and Betty come and Alda and Biddy and Emily and Bill & Harriet and Harry & Margaret and come again.

Lisa, do you know how old Elizabeth was when she wrote this? It seems from her grammar she may have had a limited education??
It's nice that she had lots of friends/family helping her with her new home.
I haven't a clue as to how old she is or where she came from - though reading ahead - I have a feeling she might have been from Somerset County.
I'm glad Dad is feeling better...
